Research Projects now underway Research projects are at the heart of the Phalaris Project. Work is ongoing, on a variety of data- and statistics-related projects, highlighted by these: The North American Stakes History Project A database that will include extensive information about thousands of stakes events in North America, as well as of the horses who competed in them and the human connections of winners of these races. Classic Horses and Past Performances A database containing complete past performances, including recent workout information where available, for all horses that ever took part in the Kentucky Derby, Preakness or Belmont is being created. At present, work is ongoing on Kentucky Derby starters. Sires Survey of future success of freshman sires. Coming soon. Spotlight The Phalaris Project is looking for your help!
